The Wooden Sword is a weapon that can be crafted with 7 Wood at a Work Bench. It deals 7 base damage, and has the wide swinging arc of a Broadsword.

- On mobile and 3DS you spawn with a Wooden Sword instead of a Copper Shortsword.
- Due to the swinging arc, it may be wise to craft one and replace the starting Cooper Shortsword with the Wooden Sword, as it deals higher damage, is more efficient in dealing with flying enemies such as the Demon Eye and is very easy to craft, being available with just a bit of materials whom are readily available at the beginning.
