Vulcan Bolts are a type of ammunition exclusive to the 3DS version. They replace any ammo used whenever the player fires the Vulcan Repeater.
Similar to Hellfire Arrows, Vulcan Bolts will explode upon contact with another object, damaging players and mobs alike. As such, they cannot be retrieved after being fired. They have a small chance to split into two upon firing, each with different flight paths.
Because they can't be retrieved nor forged, the only way to put them into the player's inventory is through hacking.
