The Spiked Ice Slime is found in the Snow Biome. This slime deals between 7-11 melee damage and fires ice missiles that deals 15-17 ranged damage. The ranged ice missiles have a chance of inflicting the "Chilled" and/or "Frozen" debuffs.
This particular slime variant is pretty dangerous, as his attacks will slow the player down and potentially can even Freeze the player solid, easing the path for nearby enemies to come and finish off the helpless player. This can be avoided with autopause, then save-quitting the game and respawning on the world, however.
In Expert Mode, the Spiked Ice Slime will fire a cluster of 6-8 spikes around itself whenever close to the player. The same applies to the Spiked Jungle Slime.
