A Shackle is a common accessory often dropped by Zombies. It offers a base defense increase of one point.

- Due to how frequently Zombies spawn during Blood Moons, it may be desirable for new players to grind Zombies during such an event until a Shackle with the desired prefix is dropped.
- Due to the sell price of Shackles (3
) they could be a decent source of money to new players, especially if they farm Zombies during their first few nights. - This is one of the first accessories accessible to the player, however, it with its meager bonus, it's quickly outdone by new accessories.
- Shackles are very cheap to reforge (About 5 silver), meaning they can easily be reforged multiple times to get a desired modifier, such as Warding.
