The Seed is an item that you can get from tall grass. You can only obtain them if you have a weapon that uses them as ammo in your inventory. They can only be used as ammo for the Blowpipe or the Blowgun. Vines that hang from dirt ceilings do not drop seeds, nor do seeds drop from corrupt grass or hallowed grass.

- Prior to Update 1.2, the seed provided the extra damage of -1, making any weapon that needed this ammo to fire have 1 damage taken off of its base damage.
