The Pygmy Staff is a Summoning Weapon dropped by the Hard Mode boss, Plantera. The staff allows, initially, for the player to summon one Pygmy Minion that acts like a pet and follows the user around. If an enemy is close, it'll charge and throw spears at it. Pygmies' attacks will often miss when attacking moving targets.
its highest prefix is Mythical although its recommended is Ruthless.
Notes[]
- Other minions can be summoned alongside the pygmies, but the minion slots will be shared amongst them.
- The max number of minions a player can summon at one time is 11, using Stardust Armor, Necromantic Scroll, Pygmy Necklace, Papyrus Scarab, Summoning Potion and Bewitching Table.
- Having a Pygmy Staff in the inventory will unlock more items sold by the Witch Doctor.
