Purple Solution

Purple Solution is a type of ammo in the 1.2 update. It can only be used with the Clentaminator, and will spread the Corruption when sprayed. It can be purchased during the Blood Moon or Solar Eclipse event from the Steampunker for 25 Silver Coins if there is Corruption in your world instead of Crimson.
