The Proximity Mine Launcher is a gun only obtainable in hardmode worlds after defeating Plantera. It can be bought from the Cyborg for 35 
after he has moved into an available House.
The best prefix for this weapon is Unreal.
Ammunition[]
The Proximity Mine Launcher uses any form of Rockets as ammunition, similarly to the Rocket Launcher, the Grenade Launcher and the Snowman Cannon. There are four variants of the Rocket:
Usage[]
When fired, a mine projectile will issue forth and fall to the ground in an arc (the projectile is affected by gravity). Once it lands, the mine turns transparent (making it difficult for players to spot in PVP fights). Depending on the type of mine used, when detonated it will destroy blocks in a certain radius and deal damage to any players or mobs within this radius.
At a 45 degree angle, the projectile has a range of 16 blocks.
Notes[]
- Mines only last about a minute if not stepped on.
- Mines will not explode if you step on them.
- You can still take damage from your own mines.
Bugs[]
- In the mobile version, the Rocket launchers ability is swapped with this weapon.
