The Lava Boulder is a Boulder variant crafted using Hellstone instead of Stone. Despite being crafted from a significantly rarer material, the Lava Boulder causes less damage than the standard Boulder. When struck with no defense bonuses, the Lava Boulder will usually inflict 60-80 damage.

Bugs and Glitches

• Unlike the Boulder, the Lava Boulder cannot be placed on the ground and rolled. Also, placing it on a Wood Platform will not cause it to fall. The Lava Boulder must be placed on an Active Stone Block or equivalent to be used.
