The Lead Axe is a new early-tier Axe. Like all axes, it is used to chop down Trees to collect Wood and Acorns.
This axe (and all other Lead Equipment) is equivalent to Iron-tier equipment, and can be crafted only if your world had its Iron replaced with Lead Ore during World Generations.
