The Gradient is a yoyo that can be bought during hardmode from the Skeleton Merchant, who can be found in the Cavern layer. It is the worst hardmode yoyo, but it is also somewhat easier to obtain than the Chik, since it does not require the player to kill any hardmode enemies.

- There is an actual yoyo made by One Drop called Gradient with the same color pattern as in the game.
