The Gold Ring is an accessory that increases a players coin pickup range by 25 blocks instead of the usual 3. It is a rare drop from the Pirate Invasion.
This item can rarely be dropped by all enemies of the event, excluding the Parrot, and is a fundamental material for the Greedy Ring.
There are very few uses for the Gold Ring, except when you want to farm for coins using ranged tactics or trap pits, allowing you to pick up coins at a safe spot. Also, the extra pickup reach allows the player to save coins from falling in lava when battling enemies underground or in the Underworld.
