The Giant Flying Fox is a Hard Mode monster that spawns in the Jungle Biome at night. It is a larger, stronger variant of the Jungle Bat. They will fly overhead and bounce around in a way similar to Demon Eyes.
Compared to their smaller variants, the Giant Flying Fox flies slower and tends to follow a pattern similiar to a vulture. They are quite common at the Surface Jungle but do not spawn naturally down into the Underground.
