The Ghoul is a hardmode underground desert enemy that drops Ancient Cloth, used for the Ancient Set. It can also spawn in the surface desert as well under certain circumnstances, such as during a Sandstorm.
It is the most basic variant of the Ghoul enemy, having the lowest stats and not inflicting any debuffs. Their movement speed is rather fast, a trait shared among all of their variants.
Despise being the weakest variant, 50 damage hurts, and during the early stages of the hardmode, they can be a formidable encounter for underprepared explorers venturing deep in the underground desert.
