The Frozen Chest is an ice-made chest found in the Dungeon that the player can unlock after acquiring a Frozen Key. It contains a rare and powerful weapon, the Staff of the Frost Hydra. Once the Frozen Chest is unlocked and emptied, it can be picked up after being broken down with a Pickaxe.
Notes[]
- The key will not open the chest until after you beat Plantera.
- It can be found in the Heart Shrines, and it doesn't require a frozen key (Mobile exclusive).
