The Demon Heart is an Expert Mode-only item that is obtained from the Treasure Bag dropped by the Wall of Flesh. Upon use, it will give the player six total accessory slots, up from the usual five. It cannot be reused or reversed, and will not drop again for a player with either a Demon Heart in their inventory, or who already have a total of six accessory slots.
The effect is only active during expert mode. In non-expert worlds, the items in the slots are inactive and items cannot be added to the slots. Any items in them however, can be removed.
