The Crystal Thresher is an uncommon desert creature that only spawns during sandstorms, and is very resistant to knockback. It attacks like a shark, but on land, with the addition of a dash attack. It can easily kill a player who is unprepared.

- Possible reference to Monster Hunters cephadrome, which like the the crystal thresher, is a land shark that lives in the desert and confuses the player if he/she is hit.
