Crimsand Blocks can be found near The Crimson when desert sand is corrupted (or rather, crimsoned). The color of the sand will be turned to a grainy, dark gray color with little red dots, but it will act just like normal sand, meaning it will fall if the block beneath it is destroyed. Crimsand Block can actually spread Crimson, so be careful when it comes to placing it.

Notes[]

  • Like any other gravity-affected block, if the player touches falling sand from the side, it will deal suffocation damage.
  • Like SandEbonsand, and Pearlsand, Crimsand can be smelted to glass with a Furnace.

Trivia[]

  • Crimsand appears to look like rotten flesh.
