The Clinger Staff is a spell that when used creates a wall of Cursed Flames, in similar fashion to the Nimbus Rod. However, the mana cost is much higher and the vertical range of use is only 10 blocks by one block horizontally.

The clinger staff is great at defending against enemies that are affected by knockback, but the mobs with the unicorn AI will most certainly die. The clinger staff can be used as a tool if you are on low health by placing a wall between you and your enemy. The clinger staff can also be used to fight off other mimics because they slow down upon being hit.
