Blue Armored Bones is a Hard Mode monster found in the Dungeon once Plantera has been defeated. They have 4 varieties with different stats. The Blue Armored Bones using body armor has about 50 defense. The one without a sword has 550 
instead of 500 and does low damage (about 50), but the one with a sword has high attack, about 80 damage. The Blue Armored Bones using a club seems to be much weaker in HP and defense, but does higher damage.
A good strategy is to use any weapon that can inflict the Ichor debuff to lower their defense to deal heavier damage, as their defense is very high. Alternatively, try to use a ranged weapon that can pierce multiple enemies to deal with crowds.
