The Amethyst Staff is of the lowest tier of craftable staves. It is the weakest magic weapon in the game, along with Topaz Staff. It only uses 3 mana and its projectile cannot pierce targets.
The Amethyst Staff is equivalent to the Topaz Staff and is only available on worlds where Copper replaces Tin (although one can still get all the ores via the Extractinator).
