The Aglet is an accessory that increases a player's movement speed, similar to the Anklet of the Wind. However, the Aglet only increases movement speed by 5%, unlike the anklet's 10%.
To maximize the speed bonus, an Aglet, Anklet of the Wind, and the Shadow Armor can all be equipped with a 30% increase in movement speed. By using Swiftness Potions, total movement speed can be increased 55%; however, wearing the Hermes, Lightning, or Flurry Boots will only increase the total running speed as though the player had charged without movement speed bonuses.

- This is one of the most common accessories and can be found early on by exploring for surface chests. As of 1.3, its chances of spawning seem to have decreased significantly.

- An Aglet is the plastic/metal end on shoelaces that prevent them from fraying at the end; hence the item's bonus.
