Eye of Cthulhu

For some reason, even though I've defeated EoC twice, the dryad still hasn't moved into the empty house I have for her. I'm really confused. Please help.

1. Defeated Old one's army (Phase 1)

2. Defeated Goblin Army

3. Defeated Eye of Cthulhu

4. Defeated Brain of Cthulhu

5. Defeated Eater of Worlds

6. Defeated King Slime

7. Defeated Skeletron

8. Got a Night's Edge

9. Made another Night's Edge and gave it to (friend's name)

10. Can defeat all of the bosses listed quickly

These are my accomplishments so far!

I am trying to defeat the Eye of Cthulhu, Does anybody know how to?

I made a Night's Edge and gave a Muramasa to my friend. Together we defeated two bosses. What made this race interesting is that we battled both two bosses at the same time and we did it inside of a Crimson chasm.

So eye of cuthulu spawned while I was looking for an Ice boomerang to make a Trimarang, so I had to fight it with an enchanted boomerang instead. I got it down to 9 HP before it despawned TwT. Halfway through its second phase(master mode, I decided I Didn't like summoner as a pure class so I restarted and mixed it with boomerangs, which are my favorite weapon) where it does the diamond dashes I realized that if you throw the boomerang to a good bit above the bottom left corner of the screen, the eye will always dash into the boomerang 3-4 times while it tries to return to you. And in its first phase, when it dashes below the platform bridge, you can throw the boomerang just above the servants on the platform, and on it's way back it will hit the eye 4-6 times and kill all the servants it spawns as they all slowly line up with the platform. Then eye speeds up and chaces you overhead where you can switch directions to catch your boomerang and start throwing it directly at it until it dashes back below the platform.

I kinda want to see if I can kill it with enchanted boomerang so I can flex on the literal 3 other people in the world who even use them (everyone else uses thorn chackram or Trimarang, and just throws it directly at the eye the entire fight.)

Also something I don't understand about thorn chackram users is why they don't make a box at the end of their arenas for the eye's final phase. They'll be getting hit to death reguardless, but in a box you can't miss with thorn chackram as it bounces around, sure to hit the eye while it's dashing through. Everyone says boomerangs suck, but literally 80% of them don't even use them right.

I decided to finally play Master mode for the first time 2 days ago, and fought eye of cuthulu last night. All you do still is literally run backwards in a straight line and shoot it with jester arrows and an archery potion. I didn't even have to go get Hellfire arrows or upgrade my bow past silver like I did my first time on normal mode.

On the other hand I finally have an appreciation for boomerangs, my god is shroomerang/Enchanted boomerang the saviour of early game. I never had to worry about normal enemies touching me because of all the knockback boomerangs have while I was exploring.

Also first time crafting blood butcher I got the godly modifier lol.

I beat the Eye of Cthulhu with my brother, and both of us had 140 HP. The world we played in was less than one week old. I only had 10 or 11 defense. Now both of us have a Blood Butcherer and my brother a yoyo.

All I know is EoC BoC EoL and WoF

I was digging then the EoC spawned and is now haunting me SOMEONE HELP PLZ

I would like to so the rules are...

1. 4 players max I will be the narrator

2. You have only copper materials like in the actual game

3. The goal is to beat EoC and BoC

4. At least try to have fun

So most of the bosses have a summoning item that you use to make them appear, Celestial Cigil for Moon Lord, Bloody Spine for BoC, and the infamous Suspicious Looking Eye for EoC. But there are a few mosses without a summoning item, namely Plantera and the Lunatic Cultist. So I have an idea for each of them.

For Plantera, there's the Potted Plantera Seed, crafted from every herb in the game.

And for the Cultist, I thought of maybe an Ancient Tablet. Sorta like what the Cultists at the dungeon are praising, but smaller

I've been gathering a lot of loot to fight the eye but I don't know if it is enough to win the fight, I already made a Big arena with campfires

I guess I’ll tell you important stuff I have first.

I like to use a bow, managed to find a mine with a minecart and rails, and am building a bridge above the corruption so I can navigate it easier.

I have a guide, merchant, and zoologist (trying to get arms-dealer), I have 5 lens (almost enough to get the suspicious looking eye), and no boss arena yet… because I never have the chance.

Any tips to help me get to beating my first boss? Or any tips to help me progress further?
