<p>I thought it might be a good idea if there was a transparent, centralized location for block requests to be made/people to contest pending blocks rather than potentially cluttering up the admins' talk pages once the 1.2 update comes out.
</p><p>You do not necessarily need to follow the format laid out below, but please do not leave a request without a clear reason for it!

<p>Alright. I figured obvious vandals should just be ignored, but I also reasoned it wouldn't really hurt to offer them a place to explain themselves — perhaps between the time they are reported and the time an admin responds.
</p><p>(I probably should have made it more clear that I was talking about the sort of people who are not really normally talked to before they are blocked...)

</p><p>HallowedCat (Keeps changing the coins parameter in the infoboxes on the Angler Fish and Illuminant Slime pages. I explained the reasoning behind the current values in the infoboxes several times — first in edit summaries, then in a couple of talk page messages. I don't know if I just did a bad job explaining, or if I'm misinterpreting the value in question, but I think I've done all I could do, and this may be best resolved by an administrator.)

</p><p>Edit: Left a note on his talk page. It seems like he's slowed down / isn't really making any problematic edits, so I'm content to wait and see at this point. If it becomes a problem again, feel free to revert the edits and let him know (and/or me).

<p>Lord Beep is a spammer, doing nothing but spamming links to a site that I dare not visit because "getting steam wallet codes for free" is probably not legit.

<p>By the looks of things, the only edit that Jamesdie has made which was not in an image caption was useful (specifically, properly shortening a link on the Solar Eclipse page), so I'm willing to bet that they simply do not realize that captions should uphold a similar standard to the rest of the page which an image is on. I'll leave the user with a warning and see if any further problems arise.
</p><p>(Also, the blog post the user made might not be a trolling attempt – thinking that people will be able to join them in multiplayer via the IP 127.0.0.1 seems to be a fairly common mistake.)

<p>Hmm, sorry I missed this one.
</p><p>Looks like the only edits that user has made were within a few minutes of one another, and they haven't been back since. I tend to find such users to not be worth blocking unless they come back at a later date and continue acting the same way.
